This piece has been forged from a Philippine-American War-era armed forces brass shell casing. It was manufactured by the Driggs-Seabury Ordnance Company. It is of the very highest quality United States Government brass. This 3-inch casing was most likely brought back as a souvenir. Textured and highlighted to show off the century-old patina. The clip is stamped with the casing’s original date of manufacture and an Indian Head Penny from the same year has been hand-riveted to the front.
