This piece has been forged from a WWII-era armed forces brass shell casing. It is of the very highest quality United States Government brass. The projectile would have been used in a 105mm howitzer, and the casing was most likely brought back as a souvenir. Textured and highlighted to show off the decades old patina. The clip is stamped with the shell’s original date of manufacture. An American occupied Philippines coin is date matched and hand riveted onto the casing with solid forged copper rivets.
Each money clip is hand-made in the USA in our studio in Northfield, MN.
